The Trustees

Clare Spencer – Chairman

Clare has been a volunteer since 2010 and became an instructor in 2014. In 2018 she joined the board as Pony Trustee and Vice Chairman and became Interim Chairman in 2021. She is a coach for the Friday morning class. When Clare was young she was an active Pony Club member and returned to riding after living in London, she evented until injury forced her to retire from competing.

Jamie Campbell-Harris – Treasurer

Jamie is a Chartered Accountant who has spent his career as a CFO and investor in the media sector. Jamie is new to volunteering at NRDA and has been a Trustee since 2020. He has lived in nearby South Oxfordshire for more than 25 years.

Catherine Wilson – Company Secretary

Catherine has been a volunteer and Trustee for 3 years at NRDA. She is the compliance officer at her sons’ school. Prior to that Catherine was a banker in the City for 23 years and also a solicitor in banking & finance.

Deborah Browne

Debbie is a new Trustee and is also new to volunteering at NRDA. She is now retired but has had a career as a Scientist working in Haematology/Blood transfusion and then joined the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust where she worked in Leadership, management and organisational development.

Elizabeth Lever

Elizabeth has been a volunteer since 2006 and was previously a trustee and class organiser for the Friday morning class, she is very pleased to be rejoining as a trustee. During her earlier times with NRDA she created the Leading Rein newsletter for many years, participated in many RDA activities. Elizabeth lives locally and is a mother of three girls and runs her own antiques business.

Rachel Martin

Rachel is a new Trustee but has been a volunteer since 2011 and is class organiser for the Friday morning class. After obtaining a History degree from Warwick University she worked in product development, she now works part time at Nettlebed Creamery first as an assistant cheesemaker then moved to the operations side.

Lindsay Morris

Lindsay has been a volunteer since 2012 and coach since 2014 for the Tuesday morning class. She joined the board of Trustees in 2018. Prior to joining Lindsay was involved in Pony Club in South Africa for many years. Before that she had a career in computing.

Clair Rowe

Claire has been a volunteer with the Friday morning class since 2019. She is a solicitor who initially specialised in insurance litigation, but who has spent most of her career in board level law firm management roles.
